RE: Looking for Newfoundland Moose Outfitter Recommendations
I just returned from a good hunt with Grey River Lodge. I was bowhunting and couldn't get close enough, but was in good rifle range of several dandy bulls (or, as they say, "dandibools"). I was at their Salmon Brook camp, but their Forks camp also got some good bulls. Good guides and accomodations.

RE: Looking for Newfoundland Moose Outfitter Recommendations
I hunted with Serpentine Valley Outfitters the first week in October. The camp is just outside of Corner Brook on the Serpentine River. Great camp, guides, food and game. All hunters in camp took a bull moose but one and he was looking for a monster. Mine was 32" with 16 points and good palmation, dressed out over 400 pounds of meat from the butcher. Their camp is 26 miles down a rough dirt road (keeps the locals out) and 3 miles across the lake; I did not see another hunter the whole time. The hunt ran $3,500.00 with other expenses (ferry, butcher, motel and gas). No caribou at this camp, only moose and black bear. Email me if you need additional information.
