OMG, those are huge. Wish we had them here in Oklahoma. Good luck this season. What kind of camera are you using to take those photo's???
I used a digital camera with a 6X optical zoom. The quality is 2 megapix. The photos are cropped so the animals were further away than they appear in the photos.

There's not a lot of them left around here, in fact we had been told there were no more big bucks in this area. We went to see for ourselves. We reported back to our buddies that they were right, no more big bucks in that area so you shouldn't go there.

excellent pictures!! that camera is awesome. i can't wait till hunting season, it just sucks i have to wait till october.

WOW! im torn up on wear i want to go for my 08 mulie trip. probably montana for a mulie/speed goat combo, but all these alberta stories are startin to make me think otherwise....Oh the decisions. lol

That's pretty cool, is the bowhunting good in Alberta, or is it mainly long-shots?

I watched plenty of hunting shows that take place in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and they never used bows, and the deer weren't in bow range, either.

We have some amazing bow hunting up here. But if you want a real challenge try stalking those big mulies on the open prairies, now thats a challenge, but there is awesome bow hunting for all animals here in alberta.
