You got a problem with that? It ought to work just fine on some of the smaller gazelle species... Oh, and Meerkats.

I'd pick something a little bigger for larger stuff like Gemsbok or Kudu. I hear that the .257 Roberts is like the Hammer of Thor by comparison.
