Default RE: Caribou in Quebec? Where?

There is some caribou hunting around Radisson, which is perhaps a 20 hour drive north of Montreal, but it is done in late season, November and December, and the drive is long and cold, over ice roads much of the way...It is basically a road hunt for meat, and not the best hunt to take a trophy bull...Of course, since it is in Canada, an American citizen still has to book through an outfitter... If you just want to shoot a caribou and aren't too concerned about asthetics, it's a fairly cheap way to do it...

There is a HUGE thread in the regional forums under " Other Areas" discussing this winter hunt...
