Wow Troy what a great bear, I have been in on 4 different bears this year but nothing that big. Guess I should put the bow down and grab the rifle. Think I need to move to Idaho. Congrats again will be interested to hear the age on that bear.

Nice bear Shed. I saw 3 last night, I passed on a blonde sow at 15 yards, she was about 5 feet, I also saw a big cinnomon boar at 40 yards standing up and he went out after the sow before I could get a good shot. I also saw one other sow that didn't tickle my fancy. I am headed out tomorrow to see if things work out different....Looks like you are off to a good start this year...

thanks guys..

Rogue.. you spot and stalking with the bow? no bait in Oregon ..right????? thats the toughest way to kill em imo ... good luck bud!

Elk, Good luck, sounds like your in them. I am assuming your bowhunting them too??? spot and stock? bait?? just curious, no matter..Hope ya find one that tickles your fancy..

I'm checking mine in this afternoon..I am interested to see how old he was..hes a pretty nice bear for these parts..but my 05 bear is the grand pappy.. LOL

I am now contemplating buying the second beartag I can get for unit 10... I have one more turkey tag to fill first..
try to get that done this evening with the archery gear..

Shed,

Nice bear man! Congrats. Looks like he wasn't rubbed up at all.
