I have more pics of this lil fellow, but it was to much of a pain so late tonight to format all of them to fit.
I caught up with him on the edge of an old homestead two weeks before season*pictured* while scouting. I was sitting on the edge of the field from about5 a.m. until2 p.m. They worked themselves into the field and he got within about 50meters from me to bed down. They picked up and started moving throughthe long since effective fence on the left of the picture and downtowards the creek bottom when it started getting later in the afternoon. On my way out I spotted two wolvesthat had muzzles to the ground across the draw headed their direction. For some reason I have a feeling that only one of them made it to the herd.....not sure why...
It was a productive day of scouting.
I saw him again in season, but wasn't able to get an ethical shot....next year buddy, next year.
