I think the .308 Marlin Express looks more interesting. A levergun in .308 with all the cool things abouta .308, is the accuracy, trajectoy, and power. I think that looks cool, but they haven't released much info yet, except charts.

I honestly think the .308 Marlin is going to be a flop. Not that it shouldn't be a good cartridge based on the regular lever guns.

You can already get the standard .308 Winchesterin the BLR. As well as just about any other cartridge available.

You also have the Hornady leverevolution ammo already available thatbetters the old flat nosed bullets a good deal.

Well I'm shure I need it,need it for what I don't know.But after seeing the 4 bulls on Saturday when we(wife,and6 kiddo's)went and cut a Christmass tree.I'm pretty shure I want them to feel my pain next year,and the buggers had the nerve to just stand in the road and look at us.I could tell they were smirking at me.

Also, just by theory only, this is possible, but believe you me, this baby is pushing 65000psi. That is how the new super duper's do it. By being all new, they can be sure only new guns made for 65000psi will be chambered in it.

Also, be confident, it will HURT on your end too like a 375 H&H as it will duplicate it's recoil energy too!

I have no idea what the parent case is, plus, Hornady is the only entity with the powder combo to get the .375 to those kinda ballistics. I'm no fan of the Ultra Mags, either, and will be glad when they cease to exist, because they are nothing but expensive barrel burners.
