If you are doing remote/away from home hunts then IMHO you DO need two rifles, one to use and one for back up.
Stuff happens out there.
Fine then just get duplicate rifles. Still only need one caliber.
Why on earth would you take duplicate rifles in duplicate cartridges? Varriety is the spice of life.

Brutal Attack is a .308 fanatic, if you don't agree with him, he'll whip out ballistics charts, and then you tell him that "Dead is dead" and he puts up a futile fight, it's one of the only things that have ever stayed the same on this site.

That's why it's good to post the whole name of the cartridge, like
7mm Mag. if you don't want to put 7mm Rem. Mag. Usually the patent holder is irrelevant and doesn't need to be mentioned, but it's cool to show off sometimes.
