Dang, that doesn't even look like that big of a polar bear. Just imagine what a full size one could do.

man that sucks. i love stories like that when you get in an argument with someone who keeps tellin you how defencesless those poor animals are out there. the deer, elk and those kinds of animals might be a little more defenseless but there all out there and we dont get to choose which ones we get to run into.

Gulp!! I REALLY want to go bear hunting and have plans to do so, but I gurantee, I will not be undermanaged as far as weapon after seeing that. Granted, this poor guy got it while in his tent and really couldn't do much, but still. I don't want an injured bear that i am trying to track because I was under gunned or under bowed, if you will. This man, as was said before, Is one tough AND watched after inuit!!

It used to be a common refrain on this site that since Eskimos use .223's on polar bear, everything and anything goes!

You're spot on with that ELKampMaster, they (Inuits) love those old British rifles, and many a polar bear has fallen to them.

Always wondered how come those double rifles cost so damn much. Come on $20,000 to $40,000 on up for two barrels. They sure are proud of them ,that is sure.

hardcore --- Searcy's for around $9,000 or so for the PH model (still custom fitted to your body) with your choice of regulation weight & velocitiesl, A good product and Butch appears to be a "stand up" kind of guy.
================================================== =

Regarding the photos, I'm thinking that the "politically correct" folks at photobucket pulled the plug on those gory, disturbing, but realistic pictures.

So here is the question, will this site approve the storage of those photos in the Photo Gallery or does one run smack dab into the same problem here?
