Elk Hunting Caliber Question

RE: Elk Hunting Caliber Question
Best advice above was to "bring both guns"!, '06 AND .300 WM.
But before you get there, go to a range and prctice 200 - 300 yard shots.
It is common practice around here to sight in 2" high at 100 yards. (Some more, or less, deoending on caliber)
Know your balistics, and shootboth gunsagain when you get to camp. (Not IN camp, but somewhere close . . . lol).Travel can screw something up too. Nothing more agrivating than to hear some yahoo sighting in his gun right in the niddle of prime hunting ground! Especially when it's still archery season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It happened to me last year.
Hope that arrow came out clean! (lol)
