Wolf sighting near Walden, CO!! see this!
I know wolves are a hot topic, so you all might be interested to see this video of what they believe is a wolf near Walden, CO. One more point of interest: last fall, a wolf was killed by a car on I-70 west of Denver near a mountain town called Idaho Springs. The wolf was wearing a Yellowstone collar! These things are "getting out"!

That's pretty interesting. Walden isn't very far from here, and my cousin saw a very large dog track that looked wolf-like while he was shed hunting in the snowies a couple of months back. I wonder if that wolf made them.

Wolves are smart.
Moderateclimate, rich soil, lots of deer and elk, plenty of cow/calf & sheepoperations, and a "you can't touch'em" government!
Dinner is served, come 'n get it, take all you want, go forth and multiply....
Tell me again why this was a good idea.....

It looks like a wolf, but I don't know. Up here, no self-respecting wolf would hang around that long and be that careless. Of course, the lead flying at them might have something to do with that......

It has everything to do with it. Wolves down here don't have any reason to fear humans unless some rancher has finally had enough and he starts slinging lead. This wolf just hasn't met any of those ranchers yet. He might meet me if I see him while I'm in the area, though. (just kidding there are too many people watching)

These are enviro-greenie wolves, one of the most feared variants of the original grey wolf blood line originating from Hinton, Alberta....
They fear no bullets for they have the full force of the protection of the U.S. Government.
I know....
Fear this --- SSS.
A mere drop in the bucket, and at the risk of serious loss of liberty.

AlaskaMagnum, you are dead on. We just had a big article in our local paper about wolves not fearing humans here at all. Ranchers are driving out in the fields and they aren't even running away. They just sit and watch!!!
