Elk Quiz for fun.
I copied this offanotherbowhunting sitethat I frequent, but thought I'd share it here for those who don't bow hunt. Its just a test of some little known facts about elk. If youwish post the numberyou got correct. I got 10 out of 12 correct, missed question 3 and6 and being honest I took a guess on question number 1 and got lucky.[:-]

OK, so is it just me or does anyone else have a hard time beleiving the average life span is 7-10 years!
I'd have guessed that many calves don't make it more than a few weeks and that would have lowered that number! Of course, maybe they are counting every elk, including those behind high fences!

Bobby, that is why I said just for fun, its nothing serious that would or would not help a fellow elk hunter out.
Paul I too agree with you that the average life span should be bumped up a few years.
