Got a black bear hunt this friday threw tuesday.....went to the range to shoot and sight in. Shot my 30-30 and .308 twenty times each, talk about a sore shoulder hahahaha. But now they sighted in and holding tight groups at 50 yards. Im hunting the Adirondack MountainssoI doubt Ill get a shot past 50, its real thick stuff.

Good Luck----I used a 180 grain round nose Win PP out of my 30/06 for my black bear here in Colorado. What are you shooting out of your 308?

When we go hunting im shooting my 30-30 with 170gr winchester power point, my brother is gonna be shooting the .308 with 180gr remington core-lokt. Both will do the job at under 100yrds, the .308 will prob do it 3 times over haha
