Yep that is me, Took 6 of us about 5 hours to drag him one mile to the road. Found a guy with a high lift to put him in my truck. I was drawn out of 25k that put in for the hunt. This was 100% in the wild and fair chase. Pa has about 800 elk that roam wild.

PaRu, the elk here in Pa is 100% free range. I've seen them along pine creek in Lycoming county and of course in elk county. As was stated earlier the Pa herd isn't exactly big in comparison to other states but if you're lucky enough to draw a tag it's up to you and you alone to hunt them and fill it. Congrats on a nice elk.

Yes the elk here in Pa are free roaming, I was asigned an area that was about 150 Sq miles.

And My bull was in the Kingsoutdoorworld.com trophy room contest. I lost by 86 votes to a Ohio whitetail. Lost out on a $1200.00 pr of binos...Oh well had fun.
