Get a box of each and shoot em'. Will it cost you some money to find the load your rifle likes? Yep, sure will! But at the end of your testing, if you have tried several factory loads,I can almost guarantee you'll find a load which shots very well inyour rifle.

Which ever one shoots best in your rifle!! They are both good bullets to work for just about anything you might hunt with whichever cartridge you are using. Get a box of each, and maybe even 1 or 2 more types of ammo and try them out. We can't tell you which will shoot best in your rifle. Only your rifle can tell you which will shoot best.

All things being equal I would choose the Partitions. Thats to say that they both shoot equally well out of your rifle. Now if the Failsafes shoot considerably better, then I would not hesitate to use them.

I have never shot the fail safes, but have shot the partitions and they are devastating on game. I have observed both elk and deer that have been shot with partitions (250g through a .338) and they certainly do the trick.

I am a nosler man. That is almost all I reload. I have shot up to hogs and mule deer with the partition and had very impressive results. But like everyone says. Shoot what your rifle likes. You can't force it to shoot one better than the other.
