Elk are awesome animals to hunt, however my vote has to go to stone sheep, there is something about the mountains they are in and the majestic look of them that makes it addictive once you have gone, I do go for elk every year also as well as sheep but sheep get my vote

Big ole bulls screaming their heads off in the background and yet I still love hunting mountain big timber whitetail bucks! Not whitetails.. not whitetails in general... But mature bucks... big mature whitetails have my heart...

I can't pick a favorite. I just like hunting. So, I guess my favorite is whatever happens to be in my crosshairs come shootin' time. I do enjoy whitetails, because that has been what I've hunted most over the past ten years. I like the scouting and still hunting. To me there is nothing better than tracking an animal to its bed in the middle of the day and taking it in its sleep. Some people may say that its not very sporting, but I say that you should try it sometime LOL. My grandfather was a master tracker, and I don't think that there has ever been a man that could track a deer better than him. I tried to learn as much from him as I could, but I guess in another 20 years of practice I'll catch up lol.

TFTS, I'm like you on this one! I think the best part is building the tree
stand and being in it. I just love being out there. '
If I had to vote, I'm on whitetails. These tasty critters are about the best eatin' in the east, or atleast 'till I try caribou! You guys out west sure got
it good. I visit the rockies last year, graetest place on earth!
