Congrats Bow tek!!

You'd think that farm dogs, or any DOG for that matter would have a hard time catching a turkey, but I was surprised afewyears ago that while I was using my chain saw to cut cedars down on my property in KS., that my two german shorthairs where able to go find, catch, and retrieve a turkey to me. I would've thought that a turkey could get away from a couple of dogs. SO, it isof no surprise that coyotes and bobcats alike can catch a turkey on any given day.

Talked to my buddy in KS. last night and he tells me that the turkeys back in that area are still in their large winter flocks. Just 10 more days for me, before I head back to give it a try.

LOL You can have him, after all the nonsense that came out after his press conference you guys can have him. Heck he only made 1 offical visit and that was to the Chokeeyes. The little punk was playing everyone, and did you hear him? He couldn't even put 2 words together. I hate to tell you this but I think you have another Maurice Claret on your hands. Good luck to you. LOL[8D]

Thanks for the congrats everyone. I'm sorry I didn't come through with a longbeard. I will start hunting here at Ft. campbell next week. It is in TN and Ky I'm allowed four birds and they do not count towards my Ky tag. It is hard to get drawn for an area. It is also is 1 1/2 hours away so I will not be hunting there much due to the price of gas. Our state season comes in the 12th.I've filled my 2 bird limit(all longbeards)for a long time here in Ky. Then I think I'm heading down the road from bloodcreek in Indiana to finish my season. Last year i killed a very big bird in there.
