13 more days until the trip to Ky. Unfortunately, as soon as it gets here, it will be over. Unless I take residence in woods !

How's the turkey signs been down there Cody? I haven't got a report on the property in a week or so now. We are seeing birds here in Mi. strutting and starting to get henned up.

Well Bullrider115 things are nice i mean the birds are gobbling pretty good an there startn to strut alot but the bad thing is there getting henned up more an more every day but luckly we had alot of jakes last year that our now 2 year olds an we have more turkeys to go after !!

wbh2009,

I agree, it don't look like a 19.6 lb bird. He was and probably part of the reason was that when I shot him he flopped around and into water. The other might have something to do with the person behind the camera, me and a buddy. dog1

Well...I went out hunting over the weekend and I didn't see any gobblers (my scouting seemed to show the same), so I am going to try a different piece of property that my family owns and see if I have any better luck. I has been several years since that I have gone without getting a bird...sure don't want to break the streak!

Welcome aboard Diamondliberty.

Good luck to all team 5 members. I'm after one that JW! tried to kill last year. Worked him for 2 hours this morning before he finally turned and walked off gobbling. I believe this is the same bird that has been in that area for 3 or 4 years, he's no dummy. After he flew down 2 hens did to and they came to me, had to shut up and let them feed past me, out of site and hearing. Fiqured I had him if they was his hens, but he wouldn't leave where he was, til the above 2 hours past.

Now that I have drove everyone nuts consistently, cuttin' cluckin' purrin' gobblin', I am ready. No slates to carry around no boxes, all mouth calls in one little case. Much easier to get around the woods with a bow and no extra gear...... Ky. Birds, here we come.
