Well you guys gave me another bow to try, that vectrix seems to be a great unit. I got shoot the new Matthews DXT and it felt very good but need something to compare it with.
I don’t own a bow, never have but really looking for the perfect fit what ever that may be.

I bought a vectrix today and I was surpised at how smooth the draw is on it.I was going to have it set to 65lbs, but I left it set on 70lbs and it's an easy draw. Both the Hoyt and Mathews are really smooth and quiet shooting bows. The Hoyt will give you more speed. I would shhot both of them before buying. I went in with the intentions of buying the Hoyt Vulcan, but it wasa tought draw...but really fast. The Vectrix was a better fit for me.

I went with the Vetrix as well; I even passed up the new Katara for this bow. The Katara was sweet and I would have been fine with it but it was a little loader but faster (slightly) I also noticed slightly more vibration in the Katarta.
The Vetrix was smooth and still plenty fast. I had mine moved to 65LB and it helped my form.

I had a switchback an 05 and have shot the 07 vectrix, the hoyt may be a tad faster but the sb is smoother and quieter, but if you do go with the mathews the first thing I would do is get rid of the Zebra string on it,I had mine in the shop more than I did in the field, you could not stop the peep from rotating after 25 shots or so you could put a couple swist in the string it would be ok for 20 to 25 shots and it would do it all over again,I will say one thing the one has better customer service than the other there strings are terrible mine was a little top heavy with the quiver on it needs a rear stab on it to compinsate for it,I got rid of both the mathews I had...........Ted
