I saw a nice shooter following a doe last Weds afternoon @50 yds, but he ignored my grunting and rattling - nothing to speak of since. My buddies also talk of seeing some mature bucks on the move in daylight hours in the past week. Once Sandy clears, I will be spending a lot of time in the saddle.

Finally made out and had a good day. Saw 7 different bucks and a little chasing also. Took a shot at a pretty decent 8 but alas I missed the distance and just put it under him. Pretty confident that I will get another shot in the coming weeks...

Fsh...............you hunker down up there, down here in the sticks of St. Mary County we will be bracing for the worst. I got 20 gallons of fuel stocked up for the generator and lots of dry goods to eat.)))

Down here a misquito farts and the power goes out. Be safe !!!
