2009 Turkey Bowhunting Contest (Rules/Teams)
[align=left]The Rules:[/align][align=left][/align][align=left]After the random draw, the teams will designate team captains, and choose a name.
You will score your bird here: http://www.nwtf.org/all_about_turkeys/turkey_score.html

You must enter the first bird you kill this SPRING season (as we do in the bowhunting contest)...This will be your one and only bird you can enter.
Post a picture of your bird(after you calculate score), you, and you’re BOW [/b]into the “Official Turkey Bow hunting Contest score card” thread I’ll make when season rolls around. Turkey, Hunter (you), and Bow must be visible.
If you aren't able to score your quarry for whatever reason, identify if your bird as a Hen, Bearded Hen, Jake, or Tom, and you can use this tableif you're unable to score: Hens 10 points; Bearded Hens15 points; Jakes 20 points;and Gobblers 30 points.
No kills that were made usingillegal means, weapons,or using methods that are against state lawwill be counted, only legal kills will be counted.
Bearded hens are allowed to be posted on this contest, only if your state law allows the harvest of a Female turkey. Be sure to check and see if your state defines legal harvest as being "bearded" or if they differentiate by "sex" or "gender".
In the possibility of a tie, as slim as it may be, we will use teams total weight of all entered birds.
