My season opens Sept. 22nd. and yes, i will start hunting that early. I have a Thermocell!

I almost entirely hunt private land and we have some good bucks. I also have an exclusive tag thru the Kansas dept. of Wildlife and Parks. It allows my daughter and I to hunt together on State property. There are some really good bucks running that area.

Sounds like you have your plans laid out well zmax. I hunt private land here in Ohio, and we have some hogs running around (including the 17 point in my avatar). Im looking at getting in the stand at least 60 times this year, i usually work evenings so my mornings are free.

Don here from Iowa, our season starts October 1
still a little warm out here to be scouting, but I'll be out this weekend any way
this will be my second year bow hunting
good luck to everyone and I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your deer and to hopefully post one of my own

By all means, you can have the spot! As team captain, don't forget that it is mandatory for you to put up at least 150"!!!
