Well guys this is my last four hours of work until next Weds and time can't move fast enough. I hope that the rut has picked up significantly from last weekend. The weather has turned cold but windy. Hope I can contribute to our team. Good luck, be safe and be successful.

Well guys wish me luck. I am on the way to the farm for 2 days then back to my Fairfield property for 2 days. I have my lap top and will hopefully be sending in some pictures some time after lunch today. Good luck to everyone else in the woods this weekend.

Well guys, things are crankin here. Just got back from an all day sit. Seen more deer today than I've seen all year. Had a small 8 pt. broadside at 18yds. at 8:30 but I passed on him. Seen him 2 more times after that. Also had a spike come through and 4 does at 60 yds, no shot. Than at the end of shooting light I had about a 150" 10pt. at 40yds. with 3 does but I couldn't get him any closer before dark. Good luck everyone, I got to get to bed so I can do it again tomorrow!

I had my best day today too. 5 bucks: latest one around 10:30. I started rattling and turn around to have a 110 inch 8 pointer staring at me. The wind was in my face and he circled around and got my wind. He pegged me in the tree but just wanted to get by so badly. Pretty funny. Had two little bucks (7 and a small 10) at shooting distance but not what I'm looking for. Saw a shooter at 60 yards but, he went the other way....of course. Better luck tomorrow and hope you boys connect on a bruiser!
