Went out guys last weekend and cut my shooting lanes for the new climber. I'm hunting an area that hasn't been hunted in 5 years. Have a set up that isright in the middle of where two trails fork. Have a corn field to the west and I'm sitting in a huge oak and hickory tree thicket. We've seen a 12 point that beds in a little island of treesout in this field. Never have gotten pics of him but you can clearly see his rack when your out in the field. Have never seen him while hunting however but have never hunted close to him either. There just has to be a monster over there. So have we decided on the avator?

Here you guys go...this is a farm we hunt quite a bit. I have another farm that is another county but this one is closer to home and is less a project my other farm. I have embeded a map here of our 300 acre farm. I put a push pin where we have seen the "Big Boy" bedded on more than one occasion.

Louddrummer, Where did you put the new stand?
Itmust be nice to have 300 acres to hunt all in one place!
I have 4 private places to hunt........1.) 40 acres... 2.) 50 acres(new spot this year)..3.) 80 acres... 4.) 93 acres(2 1/2 hours away)..........263 total.

Sorry PYBuckHunter: Here is where I set up for the climbers. Its hard to see through the vegetation but there is a road in there that follow the fence line and the stand on the west side you have to cross the fence but there is another trail that they come off those field down into the oak flats.

You going to try to hunt him in the morning or the afternoon?
