I finally have good wind, so even though it's almost 90* out right now, I'm headed out this evening and in the morning. We'll see what happens.

Well boys started the season off right!!! Went out yesterday morning before heading into work for some inprocessing and scored the first day out of the gate!!! not sure if this is a good sign for the year or not but we will have to see. Kind of a smaller doe but we are trying to thin out alot of does this year on the property that we hunt. hope you guys are having fun in the woods to.

I went out Friday evening and saturday morning. I saw 1 small racked buck and could have shot a doe......She got a free pass. I won't be going out again until probably next weekend, it's just too hot.

mobow,,i sure hope the weather cools down for you man, i could not even imagine hunting in that warm weather, it must suck. At least ya seen a couple deer. when you going to wack a nanny and join the club?

Well ill be out wed the opener, weather looks decent with highs in the low 50's but gusty winds there calling for out of the north which is good for 2 of my stands. rubs are really starting to pop up all over the woods now. i cant wait to get out there and enjoy mother nature from my treestand. good luck to everyone that gets out there this week.

Welcome Home Palmer! Nice way to get back into the swing with that doe!
Our opener is Wednesday. I'll be in the stand in the AM as it's supposed to get down to 45 that morning.
Y'alls slacking days are over, I'm back and going to ride roughshod over y'all to start putting points up. Now quit yackin' and get to scoring!

finner, I'll shoot a couple does this year. It's just too damn hot to mess with them right now and besides......I can't kill a buck if I'm whackin does. The spot I'm hunting has a couple of really nice ones lurking around....
Cold front blew through today bringing highs in the mid 60's the rest of the week. Have no fear though......80's will be back by this weekend, just in time for me to head to the woods again. [:@]

Got my computer back with a new motherboard today!!!! Just got done filling out another application on line that took a couple of hours. Asked too many questions as far as I am concerned. The one about sheep and velcro gloves confused me....
