Week 2 Score and Standings
Week 2 updates.
Good shooting RD, you know your X count is nationally competitive with the top pros in the world right now. Was this score shot outside or indoors? To give you an idea of how good this is, the guy that won vegas last in 07' for the bowhunter freestyleclass (short stabilizer/pin sight) never shot more than 20 X's. His scores for the 3 days were as follows:
#1 Kurt Geist - CO, USA - 297 18X - 300 19X - 299 20X
Good shooting to Buckeye too, that is a great score for a pin sight rig, looks like your getting comfortable on a vegas face.

RE: Week 2 Score and Standings
Thanks Rick
I shoot outdoors in my backyard and from what you told me about adding up the the score most of the shots were inthe inside circle of the X.
I guess I would be in the same class as your friend , I have a short stabelizer and I use a pin sight , it's my hunting rig.
So do you think I'm ready for the I B O

RE: Week 2 Score and Standings
LMAO the IBO doesn't shoot spots
If you are shooting like that you are shooting world class X counts. The pro'sdon't shoot X counts that high very often, let alone outside in the cold weather / wind. Perhaps you should concentrate on winning Vegas next year. Your outdoor score is high enough to make the finals with the best pin shooters in the world.

RE: Week 2 Score and Standings
Thanks everybody for all the compelments , I hope to continue to shoot like that for the next three weeks and yes I posted a picture of the target face along the my score.
I also posted the same picture in the " Smack Talk thread " just to stir things up and hear myself ROAR
It's too bad I don't shoot that good on my 3D league at the range , as of this week I'm carrying a 286 average and I still have nine weeks to go.
Shooting on a 3D league is a whole diffrent game than shooting at a target face , with the five spot and vegas targets your shooting the same range all the time.
With the outdoor 3D range , there's so many diffrent targets at diffrent range's and not to mention diffrent angles it really makes hard to get that purrfect score.
It's great practice and alot of fun to compette againest other achers and hunters and when achery season comes around you'll be more confident about your shot placement and your shooting.
