Brett

I wished they would fall in my lap!! Had the big 4 pt at 75 yards . He was trailing a doe and fawn. They went into a draw. The doe and fawn came out but keep looking back. Must have been another doe in there I missed seeing going inas he didn't come out. I pushed it as much as I could but there is no cover to get in the draw to hunt it. Will move on to another area. Too bad ashe is a good buck for a 4 pt. I would let the air out of him in a heart beat. He is in the 140 range.

Tyler hunt was a bust also.

Well the morning hunt was good except for the wind swirling on me. Had two bucks go by but not what I hoped for. Was a good spot as the does were going by also. I was hoping Mr Big would show up following onebut no cigar.

I had a doe get behind me but couldn't turn for a shot. Just too noisey and she was standing broadside well under 15 yards. The wind was swirling about and I got lucky she didn't catch me. Then another doe and two fawns come in. Theyheaded right at me. The little patch of crap I was hiding in was pathetic at best but the spot to be. At roughly 12 yards, I knew I was dead so I drew back very slowly andmanaged not toget busted. At 6 yards the wind hit my back and her nose shot up. I needed her to take one more step to get a good shot. She took the step and I let her have it. Love those shotchip shots!!

She dropped in sight. Waited a couple minutes then went out to check her. Ducked in another spot that was a bit more favorable for the damn wind. Was hardly 5 minutes and a young buck came in. He stopped and checked the dead doe out for a couple minutes then walked by under 10 yards. Why it couldn't have been a big buck. [:@] Ended up seeing another 3 bucks not in range but not what I wanted anyways. Very good buck movement this morning.

Here's the doe...
