I'm not one to stress over death.He lived like he wanted too and I guess went out that way also.Thats all you can ask for.
It did screw up my hunting for a couple of days.I still have one doe tag to fill and the gun season opens Monday.Maybe I can get out Sat. or Sunday evening.I won't be joining the orange army.Most likely I will be working 16 hours a day atleast the first three days of the gun season.
So,you p.a. guys packing your bows or a rifle? I have vacation for the 2nd week.I don't see me going to the cabin.The boy has theraphy 2 times a week in the afternoon.Someone's gotta take him.

The first day I always take my wife out w/ her rifle. I may carry my .45 T/C Omega just for fun. Tuesday I'll be packing my bow again inside Treasure Lake. I haven't seen much deer activity at all. I think it's back to early morning and evening hunts.
The rut was so cool , lots of deer.(no Shooters)
Hoping to see that big 12 I saw in Oct.

It is an obvious false entry and a pathetic attempt at that. It should be removed without hesitation!

That is sad.I had not seen the topic untill after I read this post.I read the story on the team thread and then the topic.Last year I had a team members entry removed for being a gun kill.We never even saw the picture.I p.m.ed the guy but never got a reply.I would say there is more of that goes on than we could ever catch.
If you want to see some real messed up scores check out the AT contest I'm in.120 inch bucks scored as 130's,90 inch bucks scored as 120's.It is unbelieveable.I have seen some of there own team members question them on there score because they are so far off.It is not that hard to score them unless you have non typical points.They can be tricky.I had to take mine to an official scorer last year when I kept getting a score higher than I thought I should get.I guess we need to keep reminding ourselves this is for fun and braging rights only.
Anyone been hunting?I have not been back out.I guess I'm satisfied with my season and I'm trying to spend some time with my wife and the boys.The orange army attacks tomorrow.I'll be working 16hrs instead of dealing with them.

I was going to take the wife out tomorrow, but the "rains commeth" , and she no like rain.
I'm going myself just for giggles. Shoot a doe and thenbowhunt in the afternoon and Tues. I'm ready to go again.
Shot my bow this afternoon. Felt good.

I have a buck tag left that I am waiting to use in black powder season. My property I hunt, the owner is still deerless this year again, year 4 at least. I need to keep out of there untill he gets a deer. The holiday was great.... three geese and two ducks in two days.... thats more than I have ever shot!! It was a great time...

Good luck hunting them bucks..... put one down for the team... any inches would be great!!!! good luck guys.

bloodsaw has a buck down, but so is his computer!!! I pm'ed the guys that had not checked in, a while back, and he just got back to me. He did not give any details. He just wanted to let everyone know he will get the info up when he gets his computer up and running.
