The good news here is that I've finally scored and posted my buck in the official score thread.
The bad news is that it won't make Pope and Young like I had hoped - 122 3/8"

Story to follow...

Congrats,That's still a great deer.It does suck when your so close to P&Y.That just gives you something to work on for next year.
On a positive note, that brings us within 87 inches of the first place team.

Dude, There is NOTHING to be ashamed of. You did us proud.
I feel bad 'cause I didn't score in the first season. Hope there's a big one waiting for me.

There has been some nice deer taken.Congrats to everyone. We need a few more on the ground.Last year the winning team had 8 bucks on the ground. They were not monster bucks, just average meat bucks with a couple of good deer.My team laughed and sayed they would never win with those little bucks. They kicked are butts. We only had 2 deer taken, mine and diesel 77's.There is strength in numbers.

Rob is doing a great job at keeping the scores updated.Right now we are in 4th.There is only 80 points between 4th and 1st.This is a close one this year.
On a personal sad note. While I was typeing this my mother called and my 45 year old cousin died of a heart attack last night.I talked to him last night and shot my deer yesterday for him.He was having chest pains and ignored them for a couple of days as heart burn.He had problems in the past and new better.

Very sorry to hear about your cousin OB. The very same thing happened to a friend of mine at only 32 years old.
It reminds me that we only have a limited number of Novembers and a finite number of buck sightings in us and every one should be embraced because it could be our last. That and - heart burn that lasts longer than 2 days needs to be looked at!

I finally got around to writing the story of my hunt but it was so big that I decided to post it in the main bowhunting forum. Here

OB,
I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.
I'll say a prayer for your family.
