Well guys, all I saw tonight was a spike. Got stuck in a pretty good downpour about 6:45
and after it stopped he snuck up on my tree. Thought he was a doe but saw the spikes and let him walk. If he comes by tomorrow should I take him? 12" will be a good start.

Mo_bowhtr, it's good to hear you at least saw some deer. Good deal. I'm headed out tomarrow, unfortunately not with my bow though. I'll be was my Muzzleloader, going after adoe. Still have a couple weeks before season here.

I'll give this a bump off the second page. Anyone been seeing anything, be it scouting or hunting?

Went hunting on Saturday with the muzzleloader. Saw a lot of deer, and took this one for the freezer. Got 67lbs of meat from her. 1/2 of her body had 1 1/2" hair and the other 1/2 was about 3/8" long. Sorry about the bad pic, somehow it didn't load right.

Way to go KS. Nice to get some meat in the freezer. Pretty soon you'll have the bow in your hand and you can go after the big one.

KS....congratulations...food for the winter! I went last weekend and saw several does...still with little fawns. Maybe second rut babys. No shots available, so will be out there again Saturday AM. More later.
