Hit 70 degrees today. Most of the snow melted and somecute girlswith short skirts came out of hiding. Nice day.

Going out shed hunting tomorrow for the first time this year. Gonna be a high of 45 and sunny. Good weather to shed hunt in.

Anybody out looking for bone yet?

I've found a little 1.5 year old's shed and an old sun bleached shed. And a turkey beard from a coyote kill on accident. Hoping to get out more in the next couple weeks, I'll finally have more freetime.

Our team captain (caleb)had been out a lot and has found one he's been looking for (from his buck deemed "freakdaddy" that he has a history with). It is quite impressive, Im sure he can post a pic.

Hoosierhunter.. Thats awesome

Ya I remember Caleb's Freakdaddy shed. Very nice. Can't say I've found one like that before, atleast nothing with that sort of character.

We'll see what tomorrow brings, I just hope enough snow melted in the woods.

My second shed ever was probably the biggest one i will ever find.

81 4/8 inches

His other side was bigger though, and another droptine buck from the area might out-score this side.

Either way, i feel accomplished this spring even if i dont find another bone.

Well no luck. It's hard with just one guy, may have another guy for tomorrow. The place is flooded pretty bad tho.

All in all it was a nice little scouting trip. Jumped 9 deer and a otter in the river. Found some great looking spots I haven't previously hunted too

I did find something pretty cool, it's the plastic jacket from my muzzeloader bullet from a deer I killed back in December. Same spot from where I shot the deer. What are the odd's of finding something like that? Talk about a needle in a haystack.

Here's my one and only find. [8D]

Irhunter---Thats pretty cool. That really is a needle in a haystack. Harder to find than a shed probably.
I'm happy with the luck I'vehad so far.... I kinda suck at finding sheds[:@]

Caleb- seeing that shed never gets old.
I'm gonna predict you find his other sideduring turkey season. That would be awesome.

I found out today that i will probably be missing the opening day of turkey season because of trout fishing in PA. I'm pretty bummed out but i may leave on Sunday night so that i can make it home for the morning.
