Happy Easter guys... I hope you and your families all have a great holiday!
Had a great day so far... went over my parents w/ the wife & kids... the kids were opening their Easter Baskets and one looked up and said... "Dad, look at the turkey's..." About 12 hens and 3 long beards came down the hill. 3 very nice toms. 2 appeared to be jakes... but very large... then as they were going back up the hill, the "jakes" started to strut... both had very nice full fans. Both must have broke their beards off during the terrible ice storms we had this winter... so, 5 toms hanging around...
Can't wait for the 25th... and then I'll start 2 days later...

Happy Easter all! It seems like everytime i sign on someone has another bird down! haha great job guys. I'm still anxiously waiting for May 1st to get here but in the meantime I've been gearing up, including installing a new thumbhole stock on my 870. I installed it today and it is awesome!

Sure does - good luck - and I do get to go back out 4/20!
Tho we are back to #2 in 11 bird total - one from each team member - we only have 4 hunters who have birds while the other team has 5. We have immense room for improvement - What ever you guys shoot register it.
Will help us with the 11 man and the Grand total to which we are leading by about 100 points.
Go get em team - We are trying an idea that IF a team wins this thing - then they all stay together the following yr!

There are 2 w/ no beards... I was watching them... thinking they were unusually large jakes... then they started strutting... nice full fans... probably 1" spurs or so... Nice birds... just must have broke their beards off in the ice storms we had. The other 3 have nice ropes...

Well I get to take a guy out for Wisconsin's opener but he can't fo till Thursday - opens tomorrow - then when he is done we both head to Michigan for the 4/20 oepner - so hopefully I will be back with another bird!
Amd in far better shape there than previous as I know where 8 long beards are! Yowzer - gotta ;ove AT& T scouting - train yer landowners right and they tell all!
