The birds are out everywhere here now with the warmer weather. I have been seeing them strutting all over the place. We're ready to go here. Still have patterend the birds on my new place but I'm going to keep trying to find them there. I have two other places that we have them patterend good on so no worries there. My new place looks great and I see sign but just no birds yet. It's 320 acres with lots of places for them to be.
JW is lookin for Flowers in those states

Had our special youth turkey hunt class yesterday at the local Sportsman's club. we have 9 kids signed up. 3 of us "mentors" did an instructional class filed w/ the State. We went over turkey hunting basics, calling, set ups, etc. We also did many shoot & no shoot situations. Our local NWTF chapter donated some shells. We had all the kids shoot and practice w/ the gun or similar guns to what they will be hunting with... HS Strut sent us a bunch of mouth calls, dvds, and some other assorted calls which we gave away for the best patterns shot... You should here the kids w/ the mouth calls... their parents will kill us! 
Anyway, it went very well... the hunt is the Sat. before opening day... not until April 25... The kids are all fired up. We are going to take our kids out scouting the Sat before and show them the areas etc...
