any more news gentlemen? I was talking to my neighbor the other day and she said she had four wild turkeys on her front lawn the other day. I live in the suburbs of Springfield, Massachusetts so you don't see that very often.

Birds seem to be showing up everywhere... finally w/ the snow disappearing, things are looking good.

I just sent my address in to Arrowmaster to have the contest stickers sent out...
They want it to go to us and then I will mail out to each of you individually... may take up to 6 weeks for stickers they said, so, each of you PM me your address and I will mail them out when I receive.

boys, i'm sorry. i let yall down this morning. had 1 at about 20 steps. he kept walking and it was thick so i didn't shoot. i know it was the right thing to do in my heart but in my mind i should have tried him.there was hens around and i tried clucking, putting and even yelped hard at him but he wouldn't stop............tony

Trust me - you did the right thing. Knowing your target and beyond - not having a clean shot - possibly hitting other turkeys near by - you are a true hunter who follows the ethics we all must abide by to be a good hunter!

keep at it hyco! I'm sure the turkey hunting gods will smile on you for doing the right thing and passing up a poor shot!
Western MA - I live just up the road from Western New England College (I'm a student there) in Springfield and this is the second time I've heard about turkeys right near my place. Obviously you can't hunt them here but it makes me happy just to know they are around, haha.
