I already have a mossberg 500 12 guage. I'd rather use a smaller round..

You have an AR-15, so why would you want a rimfire for coyotes??? I would go with a Savage .17 HMR! You don't go for head-shots, you go for eye-shots!

Well, ya know.. I mean when I go out to my grandparents I only take one gun and that will pretty much always be the .22 or .17 if I get one.
