Bowtech Allegiance vs Mathews Switchback
Which do you guys prefer and why? I've shot both and like both. I found that the Bowtech's draw felt weird compared to the Switchback. However, both bows were awesome to shoot. I'm just wondering what you all think of each.

RE: Bowtech Allegiance vs Mathews Switchback
I have shot, sell and work on both of them. I much prefer the alleginace over the swithcback.
The grip is much better designed for a torque free hold on the bow.
The super solid back wall is a blessing. Very easy to use your back muscles to pull against the wall.
String and cables strech is very low and the bow stays in time well not so with the switchback.
Serving wear on the cams is almost non existant not so on the cobra cam.
It comes with much much better string and cables than what come on the switchback. Baracuda strings are junk.
The limb pockets, and thus the limbs, are placed square on the riser and aren't hanging off of one side like on all Mathews bows.
It's faster.

I love my Allegiance, although I admit I didn't shoot the Switchback. I went through this before I bought the Bowtech and alot of posts said "both are great bows, you can't go wrong either way." So true!
It does feel great on the draw, is very quiet, smooth and fast!!
Good luck!

These bows were the final 2 for me. I really liked them both. The allegiance is faster but the switchback is smoother in my opinion. I picked the switchback because it was a 100 bucks cheaper and the allegiance just wasnt worth the extra money to me. If it would have been the same price I would have an allegiance. Pick the one you like the best. I dont think you can go wrong with either.

no doubt about it go with the allegiance all the way. I've shot and worked on both and bigbulls had it right on the money. The reason you think the draw feels funky is due to the weight on the allegiance is all right up front at the draw. The allegiance is by far and away the better bow. Bowtech's new binary cam system is going to revolutionize the bowhunting industry, i guarantee it.
