I have heard it said that "opinions are like ankles...everyone has one", or something like that. Fact is opinions are not what you want to base important decisions on. For that you need facts. Grim Reaper Broadheads have set the bar high on facts. You see, facts are a result of scientific testing and that is what we did last fall in Provo Utah in a testing lab. We conducted more authentic broadhead testing than any broadhead company had ever done. We didn't just test our heads, we bought $1500 worth of other manufacturers heads right off of the shelf and went ballistic.
We mixed up over 40 blocks of military spec. ballistic gelatin and faced each test block with green whitetail hide to make it authentic. Then we used a Hooter Shooter and a new Bear Truth bow to make sure each shot was just like the one before. We tested penetration, durability and integrity of each head. We tested fixed blade heads against mechanicals and micro-heads against one another. We shot into bones cast into gelatin, angled shots in to gelatin and then into plywood and then we shot over a dozen heads into steel drums.
If you want to see how your broadhead faired you will need to watch the new DVD, Broadhead MYTHBUSTERS. You owe it to the animals you hunt to know the whole truth...not the whole opinion.

Ballistic gelatin doesn't lie. real penetration tests are conducted everyday by the FBI in blocks like this. Your broadhead was tested...wonder how it did?

Jay Liechty, president of Grim Reaper has designed the Grim Reaper to penetrate on angled shots. Not all broadheads do. Wonder how yours did?

No one hunts steel drums but what about an elk shoulder blade...that's tough. We were surprised how many broadheads failed this simple test. We saw exploding blades, twisted heads and what about those rear opening heads...wonder how they did?
